Over the past months, the Vernon Historical Society has received requests from our museum patrons to host a public exhibition featuring Indian artifacts, pottery, arrows, and/or arrowheads, as well as tools and other early items that demonstrate the daily lives of Native Americans and early settlers in Washington County. We are always seeking these items to add to our museum exhibits; however, this exhibition will be a one-day event at the museum and the Vernon City Hall. Vendors will bring their collections and set them up within the museum and the halls of City Hall. A limited number of tables will be available. Following the event, all exhibits must be removed.
This event is scheduled for March 14, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
The exhibition will provide an opportunity for collectors of various Native American and early settler artifacts indigenous to Washington County to showcase and exchange information. There is no charge to participate in this event. The Vendor Application must be returned by February 24, 2026, to the Vernon Historical Society Museum at the above address or dropped off at the Museum or City Hall. They can also be emailed to [email protected].
