On February 9, 2026, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the intersection of Padgett Farm Road and Highway 185. The vehicle was driven by Ryan Beck and occupied by two female passengers, Amanda Potter and Elizabeth Crowningshield.
During the stop, deputies developed probable cause to search the vehicle. A search revealed drug paraphernalia containing methamphetamine residue. All occupants were detained, and Crowningshield advised deputies that she had a methamphetamine pipe concealed in a body cavity.
After further questioning, all three individuals stated they had been smoking methamphetamine from the pipe.
Beck, Potter, and Crowningshield were arrested and transported to the Holmes County Jail.
