Bay County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Issues Advisory for 2026 Spring Break High Impact

Posted on March 12, 2026

As we approach Spring Break, we want to make sure everyone understands the High Impact Period (HIP) and the maps we’ve posted outlining where special ordinances will be enforced for unincorporated Bay County. For those wanting the High Impact Zones for the city of Panama City Beach, please refer to PCBPD.

High Impact Period:

March 28 – April 11

High Impact Zone Boundaries:

• The zone runs along Thomas Drive to Raven Street

• It encompasses the area from Grand Lagoon to the Sandy Beach

• It then continues along the Front Beach Road corridor

• Ending at the intersection of Front Beach Road and Navy Boulevard

What this means:

Inside this zone, new Spring Break ordinances will be enforced during the High Impact Period, including:

• Curfew for minors (under 18): 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM within the High Impact Zone

These measures are in place to protect residents, visitors, and first responders. We also want to ensure Spring Break remains safe, orderly, and enjoyable for everyone.

Our message is simple:

If you’re coming to Bay County to have fun responsibly and follow the law, you are welcome here. If you’re coming to cause problems, disregard the rules, or put others at risk, this isn’t the place.

We encourage everyone to review the posted maps, know the boundaries, and plan accordingly. Let’s work together to make this a safe and successful Spring Break.
