Almaida Burgos, 95 of Jackson County, Florida Passes on February 10, 2026 at Jackson Hospital

Almaida Burgos, born on August 8, 1930, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2026, at Jackson Hospital. A cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, Almaida’s warmth and hospitality touched the lives of all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Almaida was known for her love of cooking, always preparing delicious meals and welcoming family into her home for gatherings, especially during the holidays. The joy she derived from these moments in the company of her loved ones is a testament to her nurturing spirit. She also had a deep passion for gardening and enjoyed spending time outdoors, where she found solace and inspiration in nature.

Almaida’s departure leaves a void in the hearts of her family. She is survived by a loving family that includes her children, Bhinda Morado and husband Moses, Julio Burgos and wife Becky, Angel Burgos and wife Patricia, Jesus Burgos, Carlos Burgos, Carmen Small and husband Winford, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will forever carry her legacy in their hearts.

Almaida was predeceased by her beloved husband, Marcelo Burgos, along with her sons, Andres and Raymond Burgos, her father, Jesus Guzman, and her mother, Jessefina Morales, along with many siblings. Her legacy of love, laughter, and cherished family memories will continue to live on through those she leaves behind.

A visitation will be held in her honor on February 13, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service starting at 2:00 PM, both taking place at Brown Funeral Home located at 1068 Main St, Chipley, FL 32428. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the life of Almaida Burgos who will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
