Christopher Lee Jones, 52 of Westville, Florida Passes on February 11, 2026

Posted on February 15, 2026

Christopher (Chris) Lee Jones, 52, went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2026, at his much-loved home in Westville, Florida. Born in 1973, Chris was a devoted servant of Christ, a husband of 14 years to his wife, Alda. He was well known for his unwavering faith and willingness to help all. He truly never met a stranger and was a fisher of men for our Lord Jesus Christ.

He was a jack of all trades throughout his life and willingly worked on anything his friends, family and even strangers needed using much of his time while working to share his faith with all and letting them know no one is ever too far gone for the Lord to save. He was never ashamed to tell his story of how the Lord saved his soul and if he can do it for him, he can do it for anyone. He is survived by his wife, four children, Austin Jones, Nick Major (Susan), Grace Major (Tristan) and Joseph Jones and three grandchildren, Carson, Phoebe and Negan. He is survived by four siblings, Debra Jones, Jeanne Durden (Hugh), Daniel Jones, and Cheryl Smudek (Ondrej) as well as many nieces and nephews. He was welcomed into heaven by his beloved mother, Vivian Louise Sanford and many others. What a glorious reunion that must have been!!

A celebration of life service will be held at his home in Westville, Florida on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 5 pm CST. It is going to be a bonfire celebration/potluck and all who knew him are welcome to come and celebrate with us to share their personal stories of Chris. One of his favorite verses, Philippians 4:13, defined his life: ‘I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.’”

Though we will miss him greatly, we rejoice in knowing he has heard the words he longed for most: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.
