A Caryville, FL man is behind bars and facing drug-related charges after a traffic stop in Washington County.
At approximately 11:00 am, on February 28th, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on St. Mary’s Rd. WCSO deputies made contact with the driver identified as 55-year-old Bobby Gene Englebright. While speaking with Englebright they detected the odor of narcotics emanating from inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted and deputies located several illegal items inside of the vehicle.
Englebright was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.
