Holmes County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Krystal Rios for Meth, Active Warrants, Etc.

Posted on March 3, 2025

A traffic stop in Ponce de Leon led to the arrest of a woman on multiple charges, including drug possession and providing false information.

A Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop for a violation when a passenger in the vehicle provided a false name and date of birth. The deputy, familiar with the individual she claimed to be, confronted the suspect, who then admitted her true identity as Krystal Rios.

A records check revealed that Rios had active warrants out of Holmes County. She was taken into custody, at which point she informed the deputy that she had methamphetamine concealed on her person. A small bag containing meth was recovered.

Rios now faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, providing false information to law enforcement, and the outstanding warrant.
