Graceville, Florida City Council Candidate Forum Planned for March 31, 2026

Posted on March 31, 2026

A Graceville City Commission candidate forum has been set for the Graceville Civic Center on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at 6pm. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. The candidate forum idea was born out of the need for a larger turn out of voters for the April 14, 2026, city election.

In the 2025 election there were 1104 eligible voters and only 253 people voted. In a 2022 election there were 1275 eligible voters and only 228 voted. Thereforth the candidate forum has been organized to give candidates the opportunity to present their views and a panel of citizens to raise questions and dialogue with the candidates. The panel will consist of Annuel Franklin, Don Graham, Dr. Robin Jumper, Dezi Pearce and Shanell Ward.

Carol Dunaway, Supervisor of Elections, and Shayna Murphy, Election Services Director, plan to be present to give up-to-date information as it relates to voter registration and qualifications.

In that many Graceville business owners, managers and employees live outside the city limits, there will be a time for the audience members to participate in dialogue with the candidates.

The forum will also be on The Graceville News Facebook page through the Live Feed that evening.
