A year-long VICE/Narcotics investigation conducted by the Walton County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in federal charges against a DeFuniak Springs man previously arrested for trafficking methamphetamine.
The investigation, which began in July 2024, led to the seizure of more than 300 grams of methamphetamine and the arrest of Henry Allen Glenn, 47, of DeFuniak Springs.
Glenn was originally charged by WCSO with two counts of trafficking methamphetamine and use of a two-way communication device in the commission of a felony.
He was booked into the Walton County Jail on June 28th and later released on a $100,000 bond.
Glenn, who has an extensive criminal history involving narcotics dating back to 1997, has now been indicted in federal court on one count of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute more than 500 grams of methamphetamine mixture, three counts of distribution of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine mixture, and two additional counts of methamphetamine distribution.
The case is being prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida and jointly investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration and the Walton County Sheriff’s Office.
