James Marshall Grier, 45 of Panama City, Florida passed from this life on March 28, 2026 at Gulf Coast Medical Center in Panama City, Florida.
James was born on May 22, 1980, in Duval County to Donald and Lila Beagles. A lifelong resident of the Florida Panhandle, he had a deep love for music and spent time learning to play the guitar. He also enjoyed working on cars, a hobby that brought him both joy and pride. Most of all, James loved the Lord, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father: Donald Beagles.
He is survived by his mother: Lila Beagles of Bonifay, FL; wife: Tabitha Grier of Vernon, FL; sons: Liam Grier of Vernon, FL, Daniel Grier of Vernon, FL; daughters: Jade Grier of Bonifay, FL, Paige Grier of Bonifay, FL; girlfriend: Shannon Chambers of Panama City, FL; brother: Marvin Grier (Tiffany) of Geneva, AL; sister: Chelsea Grier of Bonifay, FL.
Service will be held 12 PM, Monday, April 6, 2026 at Obert Funeral Home Chapel in Chipley, Florida (731 Kirkland Road) with Pastor Timothy Jenkins and Pastor Marvin Grier officiating. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery in Bonifay, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at Obert Funeral Home Chapel. (731 Kirkland Road).
In lieu of the flowers, the family requests donations be made to Obert Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
