On April 23, 2026, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Shannon Bailey, from Slocomb at the intersection of Highway 171 and Highway 2.
While speaking with Bailey and the passenger, Stephanie Moore, also from Slocomb the deputy developed probable cause to search the vehicle.
During the stop, Moore advised the deputy that she had methamphetamine on her person and removed it from her bra. Bailey also stated there was methamphetamine located in the driver-side door pocket.
A search of the vehicle was conducted, and the methamphetamine was located.
Both Moore and Bailey were placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to proactive enforcement and keeping illegal drugs out of our community.
