On April 30, 2026, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office, along with officers from the Geneva Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Timothy McReynolds of Geneva, Alabama, on Highway 179-A near State Line Liquor.

During the stop, a deputy asked passenger Charmin Gilmore, also of Dothan, Alabama, to step out of the vehicle. As Gilmore exited, a methamphetamine pipe fell to the ground.

Both Gilmore and McReynolds were detained while deputies conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and McReynolds’ person. During the search, deputies located approximately one ounce of methamphetamine and hydrocodone pills in McReynolds’ front pocket.

Both subjects were placed under arrest. Gilmore was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, and McReynolds was charged with Trafficking in Methamphetamine and Possession of Hydrocodone.

Sheriff Tate would like to thank the Geneva Police Department for their assistance in this case.
