On May 4, 2025, deputies with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 on a vehicle towing a camper.
The driver, identified as David Roland, was found to have a suspended/invalid driver’s license.
During the investigation, deputies asked Roland if there was anything illegal inside the vehicle or camper. Roland advised there was an old plastic baggie inside the camper and voluntarily retrieved it from a cabinet, handing it to deputies. The baggie was found to contain a small amount of methamphetamine.
Roland was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
