The National Weather Service is monitoring the potential for severe weather across our region today.

A Slight Risk (Level 2 of 5) is in place for much of the Florida Panhandle.

Main threats include:

• Damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph

• A tornado or two possible

• Hail up to quarter size

In addition, elevated to critical fire weather conditions are expected later today due to dry fuels, warm temperatures, and gusty winds of 20–30 mph ahead of the front.
