On May 14, 2026, a Chipley Police Officer on routine patrol initiated a traffic stop for an equipment violation.
During the stop, the officer located methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. A further search revealed a trafficking amount of methamphetamine concealed on the driver.
James Paul Stone, of Sneads, FL, was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail. He faces the following charges:
– Trafficking in Methamphetamine
– Possession of a Controlled Substance
– Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
