Stephen M. Burroughs, age 61, passed May 16, 2026, at Bonifay Nursing and Rehab Center in Bonifay, Florida. He was born on October 28, 1964, in Jacksonville, Florida. Stephen was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Delanor Burroughs, his mother, Lou Hazel Collins Burroughs, and one brother, John David Smith.
Mr. Burroughs is survived by two uncles, Rev. Larry Collins and wife Ruth of Bryceville, FL and Joseph L. Collins of Panama City, FL; several nephews, cousins, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in the Beulah Freewill Baptist Cemetery, 1419 Fowler Road, Graceville, Florida, with Rev. Brian Benjamin and Rev. Howard Pitts officiating. Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements.
