Jimmie was born on November 21, 1961, to James Daniel Phillips and Elizabeth Danford. He moved to Washington County in 1991 from Fort Myers. Jimmie was truly a jack of all trades and worked in construction as a contractor. He enjoyed playing his guitar, sitting around a bonfire with family and friends, and playing horseshoes. He especially loved his preachers and praising his savior Jesus Christ and old country music. Above all else, Jimmie was a devoted family man. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James and Elizabeth Phillips; brother: James Phillips.
He is survived by his sons: Jimmie Phillips Jr. (Heather Phillips) of Colorado, Gregory Daniel Phillips of Vernon, FL, John Swinehart of Chipley, FL; daughters: Mariesa Lynn Phillips & husband (Robert Docko ) of Vernon, FL, LaNieka Pool of Chesapeake, VA, Rhonda Leigh Yelvington of Georgia; Crystal Harbor of Oregon; mothers of his children: DeWanna Phillips of Ocala Fl and Julie Phillips of Chipley, FL; grandchildren Julie, Malachi, Samuel, Emerson Khaleesi, Khalia, Amelia Kylie and Madalynn; brothers: Albert Eugene Phillips of Bonifay, FL, Samuel Arthur Phillips of Bonifay, FL; sisters: Patricia Phillips of Bonifay, FL, Regina Phillips of Bonifay,FL Annie Phillips of Bonifay, FL, Mary Phillips of Winterhaven, FL; cousins: Michael Phillips, Stephanie Phillips; numerous friends and loved ones.
