A weak low may attempt to form in the Bay of Campeche/southern Gulf this weekend as the remnant moisture from Tropical Storm #Cristina in the East Pacific moves northward.
Tropical depression or tropical storm development appears UNLIKELY in the Gulf; however, the added moisture from this system may uptick rain chances along the northwest Gulf Coast by early next week as it gets entangled with a nearby frontal boundary.
Something to monitor by Monday-Thursday next week as heavy downpours could return to the forecast.
