The Washington County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with the Chipley Police Department, conducted active assailant response training at Northwest Florida Community Hospital for hospital staff.
The training equipped participants with practical tools and response strategies to help them react effectively during an active assailant incident. Attendees received instruction on recognizing potential threats, implementing response protocols, enhancing situational awareness, and coordinating with first responders during a critical emergency.
By working together, law enforcement and healthcare professionals are better prepared to protect patients, visitors, and staff should an emergency occur.
