On March 24, 2025, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a black Tahoe driven by Hunter McHenry on Highway 90 in Ponce de Leon.
A routine driver’s license check revealed that McHenry’s license was suspended. During the stop, a consensual search of the vehicle uncovered a camouflage bag containing methamphetamine, cut straws, and baggies commonly used for narcotics.
McHenry was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license suspended.
