On July 19, 2026, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Robert Stone on Highway 185. A records check revealed that Stone’s driver’s license was suspended.
During the traffic stop, Stone admitted to having syringes inside the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted, during which deputies located the syringes along with a plastic bag containing methamphetamine.
Stone was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Driving While License Suspended
