Aubrey S. Graves, 76, of Chipley, Florida went home to be with Lord on July 30, 2026 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Aubrey was born on October 10, 1949, in Brewton, Alabama, to Noah Graves and Violet Miller. He was a faithful member of New Life Fellowship in Chipley, Florida. Aubrey enjoyed wood carving, whittling, camping, and fishing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, he loved his children and grandchildren, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Noah and Violet Graves; sister: Judy George
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years: Janice Graves of Chipley, Florida; son: Marty Graves (Meredith) of Fortson, Georgia; daughter: Jennifer Jordan (Scott) of Gordon, Alabama; brother: Danny Graves (Jan) of Brewton, Alabama; sister: Sheila Watson (Troy) of Crestview, Florida; grandchildren: Dakotah Jordan (Joselyn) of Ashford, Alabama, Stephen Graves of Macon, Georgia, Elena Graves of Fortson, Georgia; great-grandchildren: Raelynn Jordan of Ashford, Alabama, and Asher Jordan of Ashford, Alabama.
Services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, August 2, 2026, at New Life Fellowship in Chipley, Florida, with Pastor Curtis Tasker and Pastor Clinton Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Orange Hill Methodist Church cemetery in Chipley, Florida. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at the church.
