On August 24, 2026, a Holmes County, Florida Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 2 near Shawn’s Grocery.
During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause to search the vehicle. During a pat-down search of the driver, identified as Dayna Nettles, the deputy located six plastic baggies containing suspected methamphetamine, along with a methamphetamine pipe concealed in her bra.
A further search of Nettles’ wallet revealed Suboxone strips.
Nettles was placed under arrest and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
