Hazel Lucile Foxworth, 80 Passes on September 9, 2026

Hazel Lucile Foxworth, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026, at her home in Chipley. She was born on April 16, 1944, in Holmes County, Florida.

Hazel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel the world with her husband, Jerry, and she especially enjoyed spending time in the Smokey Mountains. Those who knew her will remember the love she gave to her family and the joy she found in being with them.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Foxworth of Chipley. She also leaves behind her children, Kenny Foxworth and his wife Kim of Chipley, Danny Foxworth of Chipley, and Virginia Deakle and her husband Ben of Chipley. Her grandchildren also brought great happiness to her life, and she is survived by Hannah Foxworth of Chipley, Cody Foxworth and his wife Ricki of Chipley, Emma Foxworth of Chipley, and Issac Deakle of Chipley. She is also survived by her great-granddaughter, Anna Harris of Chipley and numerous extended family and freinds. Hazel’s family was the center of her life, and her memory will remain close to all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.B. Jenkins, and her mother, Lucile Hazel (O’Quinn) Jenkins and three brothers.

A visitation will be held on September 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Blue Lake Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 P.M. with Paster Rich Smelser and Pastor Mack Glover officiating. Interment will be held at Blue Lake Cemetery.

Brown Funeral Home & Blue Lake Crematory of Chipley, FL is in charge of arrangements.
