Recognizing the need for an instrument capable of highlighting local artists, creators and photographers, Florida Panhandle Technical College Instructor Paul Goulding and his program students decided to create and broadcast a video podcast featuring just that- local talent.
Titled ‘Room 171’, the official Washington County, Florida School District nomenclature for ‘Studio B’, the FPTC production facility built by Goulding and his students over the past decade, the show had thus far put a spotlight on local photographers from the Florida Panhandle and Southeast Alabama.
‘Over time, this show will be flavored by the variety of students we enjoy in our photography, video production, drone and audio production students’, says Goulding, ‘and will serve to drive attention to those talented folks as well as our programs here at the college in Chipley’.
