On Sunday, June 1, 2025, around 9:30 a.m., Jackson County Sheriff’s Office deputies were patrolling the Grand Ridge area when they saw a vehicle driving around the parking lot of a local gas station. When the driver of the vehicle saw the deputy, the car was quickly parked, and the driver exited the vehicle.
Deputies recognized the driver to be Tori Elizabeth Owens, who they knew to have felony warrants out of Jackson and Gadsden Counties. Deputies arrested Owens for her active warrants.
During a search of Owens’ vehicle, deputies located an empty cigarette pack containing a plastic baggie with methamphetamine and documents with Owens’ name on them.
In addition to her active warrants, Owens is being charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
