The Red Heifer Steakhouse will open to the public on Friday, June 6, 2025 on Main Street in downtown Chipley, Florida, at 4PM, but *SPOILER ALERT* we are NOT a fast food restaurant.
The Red Heifer was designed to offer a quality dining experience, featuring first-rate beef, chicken and fish, appetizers and desserts, while upholding the high standards of our longtime restauranteur owners, and to that end, our entrees are cooked to order.
What should that mean to you? Realistically, this means that you will be disappointed if you expect a quick meal.
We have designed The Red Heifer to offer a congenial atmosphere, and we suggest that you relax, enjoy conversation with your friends, along with your favorite cold beverage, including our Signature Specialty Cocktails, beer and wine, and allow us to present a laid-back, unique dining experience.
In addition, the initial weeks of a new restaurant can be somewhat busy, as staff fine-tunes their operation, so if you are demanding (you know who you are) it might be advantageous to wait a short while to allow us work out the kinks before you visit us.
We look forward to presenting to you a relaxed and flavorful culinary experience, and we invite you to join us, while taking the above information into consideration.
The Red Heifer will be open Wednesday through Sunday, from 4PM until 10PM.
