Jackson County, Florida Sheriff’s Office Arrests 3 for Methamphetamine, Theft, Etc.

On Tuesday, Feb. 28, Narcotics Investigators saw Christopher Lee Benefield at the Dollar General in Compass Lake, and knew him to have active felony warrants out of Jackson County. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle Benefield was travelling in, and he was placed under arrest.

During the stop, two other people, Chad Vickery and Jacklon Ahbol, were inside the vehicle. Vickery was also determined to have a felony warrant out of Jackson County. During the stop, an FHP K-9 Trooper deployed K-9 Kane, and he alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

The vehicle was searched, and suspected Fentanyl pressed pills, a quantity of methamphetamine, a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe and a quantity of suboxone stripes were found. Benefield, Vickery and Ahbol were arrested and transported to the Jackson County Jail.

Benefield was arrested on a warrant for Sale of Methamphetamine; Vickery was arrested on a warrant for Felony Petit Theft; and Ahbol is being charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.
