James David Walters, 67 of Chipley, passed from this life on June 20, 2025 at his residence.
He was born on April 22, 1958 in Panama City, Florida to George William Walters and Christale White. A lifelong resident of the panhandle, David worked in the Underground Utilities Field as a Heavy Equipment Operator.
He enjoyed living on the water in the Wages Pond Community for 20+ years, was an avid outdoorsman, and he was an accomplished fisherman. David also enjoyed gardening, canning vegetables, and cooking for his family and friends. He loved his family dearly and will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Ira Walters, John Walters, and Timothy Walters.
He is survived by his children: Edward Walters (April) of Marianna, Florida, Alisha Walters of Chipley, Florida; grandchildren: JD, Elana, Carter, Destiny, and Valerie; great grandchildren: Lyla and Cohen.
