On Friday, June 27, 2025, around 2 p.m., a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) deputy was patrolling the area of Highway 69 and Brushy Pond Road when he saw a vehicle with no tag. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, later identified as Ollie Denise Anderson.
Anderson told the deputy she was test driving the vehicle, and that’s why there was no tag. However, when deputies asked Anderson for her ID, she could not provide one. JCSO dispatch advised the deputy that Anderson did not have a valid license and was labeled a Habitual Traffic Offender in 2021. Anderson’s driver’s license was also cancelled indefinitely in 2023. Anderson was asked to exit the vehicle and placed under arrest.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a prescription bottle for Hydrocodone with Anderson’s name on it. However, inside the bottle, deputies located 17 Tramadol and 3.5 Adderall. In another bottle, deputies located 5 Alprazolam and 7 Ibuprofen. Anderson stated she did not have a prescription for any of these medications.
Anderson is being charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription, Driving While License Suspended or Revoked – Habitual Traffic Offender, and Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle.
