Ms. Laurie Simmons recognized Vernon High School’s students for their outstanding success at the VHS Beta National Convention in Orlando. The top national winners are:
Milagros Velazques-Negron – 1st in Spanish in the Nation
Nylah Brown – 1st in Painting in the Nation
Hayden Simmons – 3rd in Social Studies in the Nation
Aleigha Brown – 10th in Science in the Nation
Carissa Peterson – 8th in Health & PE in the Nation
They worked incredibly hard and represented VHS with excellence.
