Dottie Ann West, age 90 of Chipley, FL went home to be with the Lord on July 10th, 2025. She was born on December 30th, 1934 in Plant City, FL to the late John and Eva (Pope) Whitehead.
Dottie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and her faith.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roy Lee West.
She is survived by her three sons: Chet West and wife Valerie, Dave West and wife Donna, Neil West and his wife Barb.
She is also survived by one brother, John “Bill” Whitehead, two sisters, Thelma Layton and Fay Bassford.
Her legacy lives on through her ten grandchildren: Cory, Elsa, Ben, Brent, Brad, Chad, Wendi, Tiffany, Alyssa and Autumn and her ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Bonnett Pond Community Church on Monday, July 14th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. with Funeral Service to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be held in the Bonnett Pond Community Church Cemetery. Reverend James Pate will be officiating the services.
