Jackson County, Florida is planning six Community Workshops from September through March, to ‘Help Shape Our Story’ and YOU are invited to be part of the conversation!
These workshops are all about listening, learning, and building two important projects:
The Jackson County Museum and Dozier Memorial Park, led by the County
The Emancipation History Museum, led by the Emancipation Day Festival of Northwest Florida / Freedom Roots Foundation, Inc.
Whether you’re passionate about local history, have a story to share, or just want to see these museums succeed, your voice matters.
Learn about both museum projects
Help shape exhibits and future programs
Share family stories, memories, or artifacts
Submit an exhibit idea or volunteer
Spread the word to friends and neighbors!
Can’t make this one? No problem!
We’ve got five other dates to choose from — you’re welcome at any of them. Check the graphic below and mark your calendar.
