The Chipley Police Department is pleased to announce the resolution of a recent string of vehicle burglaries reported in the city. On July 23, 2025, the department received multiple complaints regarding vehicles that had been burglarized. Officers and investigators quickly responded, initiating a thorough investigation.
Investigators canvassed the affected areas and successfully obtained video footage. Through a combination of early leads from a reliable source and extensive legwork—including in-person interviews, traffic stops, and evidence compilation—investigators identified the suspects.
Today, we confirm the arrests of two individuals in connection with these crimes: Kamden Treace, a juvenile from Chipley, FL, and Braylen Bryant, a juvenile from Cottondale, FL.
