Florida Panhandle Technical College Students Receive Josh Davis Scholarship Award on August 14, 2024

Florida Panhandle Technical College Students receive Josh Davis Scholarship Award.

On June 10, 2024 18-year-old Joshua Alan Davis of Marianna, Florida unexpectedly passed away.

He loved his truck, good jokes, and his family. His plan was to enter career and technical education to develop his skills, but sadly he was unable to do so.

His parents Tonya and James Davis, his family, and the Marianna Moose Lodge set up a scholarship in his name, after his passing, for other deserving students entering a technical education program.

The scholarship is funded by the Josh Davis Scholarship Fund Car/Motorcycle Show held each March in Marianna, FL

This year, the success of the show provided five Florida Panhandle Technical Students each a $1,000.00 scholarship toward their own technical education.

If you would like to participate in funding the scholarship, the next car show is set March 7, 2026. Scholarship awardees (& their program), FPTC’s Director, and the family are pictured here in these submitted photos.
