The National Weather Service advises rain chances will increase starting today and lasting into this weekend, particularly during the afternoon and early evening hours.
Locally heavy downpours may lead to localized flooding of urban and poor drainage areas.
Frequent lightning and gusty winds of 35-50 mph will also be possible with these storms.
