On August 21st, Detectives with the DeFuniak Springs Police Department arrested 40-year-old Angelo Britton for Lewd and Lascivious Molestation on a victim under 12 and Child Abuse without great bodily Harm.
This resulted from an investigation after a brave parent brought the victim forward after she disclosed to her that Britton had been inappropriately touching her.

We cannot stress enough the importance of keeping our children safe. Parents, please be vigilant about who your children are spending time with. Have open conversations with them, and ensure they understand the importance of telling you if anything feels strange or uncomfortable with an adult.

Britton was given No bond On the Lewd and Lascivious and $10,000 on the Child Abuse.
