On August 29, 2025, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 81 involving a vehicle driven by Jeremy Lewis of Panama City. During the stop, the deputy developed probable cause to search the vehicle.
The search led to the discovery of a metal container holding Ecstasy (MDMA). Lewis admitted ownership of the narcotics and was subsequently arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
