The Washington County Fire Games II was held at the Possum Palace in Wausau, Florida on Saturday, September 6, 2025, as seen in Part 1 of these images by Goulding.
Free to the public, gates opened at 8AM and Opening Ceremonies kicked off at 10AM, with National Colors by Vernon, Florida High School JROTC cadets, and a moment of remembrance of the tragic events of 9-11.
Vendors were in evidence, including food prepared by the Wausau Fire Department.
Nine teams competed for trophies and bragging rights and information was made available to those with an interest in becoming a Volunteer Fire Fighter.
Washington County, Florida Commissioners Wesley Griffin and Ashlynn Marquez, along with Washington County Administrator Jeff Massey were invited to serve as judges for the four individual events.
