On August 29, 2025, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office received a request for assistance from the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office regarding the possible location of approximately $70,000 worth of stolen equipment, believed to be in Washington County.
In response, Washington County deputies initiated an investigation and successfully located the stolen equipment later today. The recovered property is currently in the process of being returned to its rightful owner.
At this time, no arrests have been made. This case is in the early stages of investigation and is ongoing through the joint efforts of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
