Phyllis B. Rooks, 100 of Cocoa, Florida, passed from this life on August 8, 2025 in Viera, Florida. Phyllis was born on August 3, 1925 in Red Bank, New Jersey to Richard and Mildred Branson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William Dewitt Rooks; parents: Richard and Mildred Branson.
She is survived by her son: Alan Dewitt Rooks of Davie, Florida; daughter: Cathy Anderson (Mike) of Cocoa, Florida; sister: Margaret “Peg” Barnes of Ocala, Florida; 4 grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 AM Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Orange Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
