On September 14, 2025, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 173. The vehicle was being driven by Sarah Smith of Graceville.
K9 Timex was deployed to conduct a free-air sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a container under the driver’s seat containing methamphetamine.
Smith was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
