Traffic Stop Results in Drug and Firearm Arrests
On September 20, 2025, a deputy with the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Highway 90 near Boswell Road. The vehicle was being driven by Christine Pickron, with Sharon Brannon as a passenger.
During the course of the stop, a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Deputies located several baggies containing methamphetamine inside Brannon’s purse. A .25 caliber pistol was also discovered in the vehicle.
Further investigation revealed that Pickron is a convicted felon and is prohibited by law from possessing firearms.
Sharon Brannon was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Christine Pickron was arrested and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Both subjects were transported to the Holmes County Jail where they await first appearance.
