Donnie Eugene Pate, 68 of Havana, Florida passed from this life on September 20, 2025 at his residence.
Donnie was born on February 26, 1957 in Miami, Florida to JD Pate and Toby Ramer. Donnie enjoyed spending his time outdoors, especially deer and dove hunting. He had a passion for riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and cherished his time on the water, boating at Dog Island. He was a longtime member of Tallahassee Moose Lodge 1075 and Springtime Tallahassee. Donnie will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents: JD and Toby Pate; wife: Diane Taylor Pate
He is survived by his fiancé: Rita Stevens of Tallahassee, Florida; brother: Herman Pate of Fountain, FL, Phillip Pate of Bristol, FL; sisters: Judy Fritz of Fountain, FL, Sybil Lolly of East Point, FL; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral service will be held 7PM EST Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida. (200 John Knox Road Tallahassee, FL 32303). The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior to the service at Bevis Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida
Graveside service will be held 9 AM CST September 26, 2025 at Cottondale Assembly of God Cemetery (2340 Lovewood Road Cottondale, Florida 32431) with Pastor Shane Obert officiating. Obert Funeral Home of Chipley, Florida directing.
