On September 30, 2025, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop on Highway 177-A. The driver, identified as Wendy Jackson of Alabama, was found to be in possession of a book bag containing methamphetamine after a probable cause search of the vehicle.
Jackson was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Sheriff John Tate commends the deputy’s proactive efforts, stating, “Our deputies remain vigilant in removing illegal drugs from our community. We will continue to work tirelessly to ensure Holmes County remains a safe place to live and raise a family.”
