On October 5, 2025, a Holmes County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 2 and Rum Road on a vehicle driven by Eric Shaddix.
During the stop, Shaddix removed a plastic bag containing methamphetamine from his pocket, which fell to the ground in front of the deputy. The deputy recovered the bag and placed Shaddix under arrest for possession of methamphetamine.
It was also determined that Shaddix is currently on state probation. He now faces additional charges for violation of state probation.
