𝐀𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜:
Tropical Storm Jerry continues to move over the tropical central Atlantic. Jerry is likely to strengthen into a hurricane by the weekend, passing near the northern Leeward Islands late Thursday where Tropical Storm Watches are in effect. Interests in the northern Leeward Islands and the British and U.S. Virgin Islands should monitor the progress of Jerry.
𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜:
Hurricane Priscilla continues to move parallel to the coast of Baja California Sur through Thursday where a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect. Moisture associated with Priscilla will lead to heavy rainfall and risk of flash flooding into the weekend. Swells are likely to cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions.
Tropical Storm Octave lingers far off the southern tip of Baja California and is likely to dissipate by Thursday.
A disturbance located in the Gulf of Tehuantepec is likely to form into a Tropical Depression late this week if the system remains over water. The disturbance will move parallel to the coast of southern and southwestern Mexico. Interests there should monitor its progress.
