Investigation Leads to Multiple Arrests on Drug and Firearm Charges
On October 28, 2025, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office investigators responded to a residence on Holiday Road to investigate reports of stolen property.
While at the residence, investigators obtained permission to search the home. During the search, deputies located several firearms along with methamphetamine.
Anthony Burgess, a convicted felon, and Crystal Epley were both staying at the residence.
Both individuals were placed under arrest.
Crystal Epley was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Anthony Burgess was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
