On October 28, 2025, Holmes County Sheriff’s Office investigators responded to a residence on Corinth Road to locate Joyce Palmer, who had active warrants out of Washington County.
Upon arrival, investigators located Palmer and took her into custody without incident. When asked if there was anything illegal in her room, Palmer stated that she had a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine on the window sill. The baggie was located and collected as evidence.
Palmer was transported to the Holmes County Jail on the Washington County warrant and an additional local charge of possession of methamphetamine.
