The rest of this week will feature warm afternoons and patchy morning fog.
The next shot at rain will be a low chance of showers and thunderstorms from late Friday into Saturday, but it will not be enough to offer real drought relief.
Then an abrupt turn to colder weather will follow passage of a strong cold front on Sunday.
The first killing frost and/or freeze of the season is forecast for all but coastal communities on Tuesday morning, November 11.
